Adam Herndon was raised up in the student ministry here at Atlantic Shores and joined our team in August 2008. He went to Liberty University and received his bachelors in Philosophy and Religion. After college Adam married his wife Jessica. They moved to Boston in 2006 for seminary at Gordon-Conwell Theological, where he received his Masters of Divinity. Adam served as the Youth Pastor for church plant in Massachusetts until moving to Virginia Beach to become the Middle School pastor at ASBC. Adam has a passion for seeing middle school students transformed by the love of Jesus Christ. When Adam is not at Atlantic Shores, he serves as an Air Force Chaplain at Bolling AFB in the Reserves.

Melissa grew up attending ASBC, and serving in the youth group. She attended Belmont University, majoring in Audio and Video Production. She has worked as an intern in Hollywood and brings a unique perspective to our Student Ministries.
