Kyle grew up in a wonderful Christian home in south Louisiana. He became a follower of Christ at age 12 and responded to God's call on his life to the Gospel Ministry at age 18. He met his wife, Melanie, while attending Liberty University and traveling with the YouthQuest singers. They got married May 10, 1986, and have two daughters - Emily and Olivia. The Walls have served in churches across the country including 6 years in Virginia Beach at London Bridge Baptist Church where Kyle was the youth pastor.

Ira came to the Virginia Beach area in September of 2005 with his wife Kari and their four kids just waiting to see what amazing things God was intending to do. After having served as a Pastor for over 15 years, Ira took a sabbatical from ministry so that Kari could finish her education and then they could serve God in whatever capacity, anywhere in the world. God in His amazing sovereignty, brought them to Atlantic Shores their first month in the area and after exactly one year called Ira to be on staff at the church.

Roger Hammond was raised in a pastor's home in South Carolina. He met his wife Jean in a college choir in Chattanooga, TN, and they have been married for 27 years. Roger and Jean have four children (two boys and two girls) and four beautiful grandchildren.  Prior to serving at ASBC, Roger and Jean have served in various churches in Georgia, South Carolina and Indiana.  Roger has been Worship Director at ASBC since 1991.

Rick grew up Linthicum, Maryland. He trusted Christ as his Lord & Savior during his first year in Bible College. He met his wife Betsy at Washington Bible College and they married in 1974. Rick & Betsy raised three children (Joel, Kim & Philip) who are all serving in Christian ministries. Rick was a youth director at his first church and planted a church in 1980 after receiving his Biblical training. Rick has been pastoring for 30 years. He  has been a Senior Pastor, church planter, consultant, seminar speaker and for the last 16 years has specialized in small group discipleship. Rick is the author of "The Commands of Christ" and numerous articles, small group lessons and skill training packets.

Pam was raised in a strong Christian home in Parkersburg, WV.  She asked Jesus into her heart at the age of 12,  and was baptized on Easter Sunday at Grace Baptist Church.   She met her husband, Chuck, at West Virginia University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, specializing in Accounting.  They married in September 1990 and moved to Chesapeake the following June.  Pam began working as an accountant for ASBC in 1992 and became the Business Manager the following year.  She and Chuck have two boys, Jordan and Taylor, who attend ASCS.
