Mendy grew up at the foot of Catawba Mountain, Virginia. She began her life in Christ as a child and realized that God wanted her to be a missionary. Mendy attended Old Dominion University, has been married for over 17 years and has two incredible children (John III and Lillian) with her husband, John.  She has served at Atlantic Shores for 16 years in the Children's Ministry and has loved every minute!
