Interested in getting into a Small Group?
If you're exploring the possibility of getting into a small group for the first time, you are in for a treat. The love, care and sense of belonging all create an environment where your spiritual growth is accelerated.

There are several ways to get into a small group:

Back Door
We usually knock on the back door of friends and neighbors. The back door approach is to simply invite yourself to a friend's group. Your friend might even be embarrassed if they've never invited you but they would love for you to join them. Coming on the arm of a friend is always fun.

Side Door
The Side Door is through our Small Group Locator on online. Click HERE to visit Biblical Disciplemaking.net where you can register and find the group of your choice. Make your search as wide as possible so you will have an abundance of options.

Front Door
The Front Door into small groups is through a Connections Event, Fall Campaign, or Starting Point class that is designed to form groups out of those that attend this 6-week course. You can also talk to someone at the information table in the lobby after any service on Sunday. The important thing is visit a couple until you're confident you have a good fit.

Basement Door
Yes, there is even a Basement Door. This door is for those that weren't able to connect with a small group because of distance or a conflict with the time when these other groups are offered. If you are willing to host a group or become a leader we may be able to do a new group start-up with your help. If you are interested in starting a new group or hosting please contact Pastor Rick at rickl@asbc.net.

As a last resort, if you think that you have exhausted your options, before giving up please contact our Small Group Placement Director at dwilson@asbc.net or 748-2115. The treasure of community life in a small group is worth the search for a meaningful connection.

Passionate about our Savior,
Pastor Rick
