When you come to ASBC you will quickly find a warm, friendly group of people committed to making church exciting, life changing, and enjoyable. The service is approximately 75 minutes in length. We have greeters at each of the entrances throughout our facility to help assist you with any questions you may have.

A typical service includes singing praises to our God, praying, listening to a message from God's Word, inviting people to respond to what they've heard and the giving of our tithes and offerings. We often stand for most of the praise worship but if your health requires sitting during that portion of the service we understand.

How should I dress?
There is a wide range of dress from casual to tie and jacket. Most people dress casual so please dress however you are comfortable. We are more excited about what God is doing in your life on the inside than what you are wearing on the outside.

What is available for children?
We have an amazing Children's Ministry for infants through fifth grade.  Each age group has a program designed to meet their unique needs. Our hospitality team will be able to assist you in finding the correct classes for your children.
If you have children come a little early. You will need to check your children in when dropping them off at our Children's Ministry.

What is available for my teen?
Our Student Ministries have Small Group classes every Sunday morning at 11am. The Middle School meets in the SHED, and the High School in the Life Center. For more information, check out the student pages in our Ministries section.

Am I expected to put money in the offering plate?
If you are a newcomer to Atlantic Shores you are our guest and there is no expectation that you give.  If you choose to be a part of what God is doing here at Shores with a financial offering, you can give with check or cash by dropping it in the offering plate, mailing it in, or by giving online.

Where should I park?
Our Guest Parking Lot is near the Main Entrance off Kempsville Road. Look for the signs on the light posts near the steeple. We also have reserved parking even closer for the disabled and handicapped.
